Day 1 : ARRIVE ADELAIDE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Upon arrival at Adelaide International Airport, meet and greet by our representative before transfers to hotel. After check in, free at own leisure for the rest of the dayDay 2 : ADELAIDE – FLEURIEU PENINSULA – ADELAIDE (B)
After breakfast, discover and explore the charm that is Fleurieu Peninsula. This enchanting place offers beautiful hills sweeping down to sun-drenched sandy beaches. Wineries, orchards and pastures are patch-worked between bushland, and roads lead to alluring cellar doors where you can sit back and take it all in. Travel past stunning southern metropolitan beaches to McLaren Vale and visit the historic port of Victor Harbor, South Australia's most popular seaside town with its horse-drawn tram.This tour takes the scenic drive through South Australia's southern metropolitan picturesque beaches of Port Noarlunga and Moana into the food producing areas of the Southern Vales before touring into the heart of McLaren Vale. Discover the beautiful ocean scenery of the Great Southern Ocean as you cross the causeway to Granite Island. Be simply awed by the multitude of 2000 little penguins, dolphins, and oceanrium that live on the island and be enchanted with the island’s golden history from the signs on the Kaiki Walk.
Enjoy a cherished free time in the historic port of Victor Harbor for lunch and travel back to Adelaide via the paddle steamer town of Goolwa, and admire the historic hills village of Strathalbyn with the manicured banks of the Angas River and the remarkable Mt Lofty Ranges. Settled in 1839 and retaining much of its Scottish flavour, Strathalbyn boasts a long boulevard of heritage buildings housing antique shops, galleries and cafes. Among its most beautiful buildings are the Police Station and Court House Museum, the old school and the gasworks
Day 3 : ADELAIDE – KANGAROO ISLAND - ADELAIDE (B)
After breakfast, embark on one of the most scenic coach trips to enchanting Cape Jervis to board a comfortable 45 minute voyage ferry crossing to Kangaroo Island. Kangaroo Island is one of Australia’s boundless natural wonders. It is continually regarded as the ‘zoo without fences’ where you can see Australian animals in their natural habitat. On arrival onto Kangaroo Island enjoy the scenic drive to the Seal Bay Conservation Park. Here you can walk on the beach among a colony of rare and endangered wild Australian Sea Lions with a National Park Ranger.Head to Vivonne Bay for a two-course lunch, followed by a spectacular free-flight display of Australian Birds of Prey. Spend the afternoon at Flinders Chase National Park, renowned as a sanctuary for native Australian animals. Kangaroo Island's geographical isolation means that it is free from predators such as dingoes, rabbits and foxes, thus the native wildlife on the island is thriving. As a result you are likely to see many of the islands inhabitants in the national park, including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas. If you are lucky you may even see a platypus!
A highlight of your time on Kangaroo Island will undoubtedly be at the end of your day with a visit to the southern tip of the island to the rugged southern coastline for a walk and a view of the amazing formations at Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Remarkable Rocks provides great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views. With over 480 kilometres of coastline, you can stretch out in your very own secret spot. Admiral’s Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular rock archway, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful New Zealand fur seals that can be seen resting, swimming and playing in the waves or on the rocks
Day 4 : ADELAIDE – BAROSSA VALLEY - ADELAIDE (B)
After breakfast, discover the charm of Barossa Valley, South Australia’s premium wine region, a wonderful landscape of vineyard, to saviour some of Barossa’s supreme wines and view a century year old vines at Langmeil Vinery.It's the wine capital of Australia, a place where you can get a tangible taste for the greater things in life. Rows of vineyards connecting rolling hills, interspersed with charming villages and hamlets, pristine working farmland, high mountains, flat valleys, grapes growing off the hillside, the Para River, and sheep, cockatoo, and alpacas – the Barossa is a visual treat. The Barossa blossoms on a living heritage, food markets, quality wines, old preserved buildings, and a wealth of culinary choices.
Savour on world-class wine at four premium wineries (Kies Family Winery, Langmeil Winery, Kaesler Winery, and Wolf Blass Wines); enjoy a walking tour of the historical wineyard, learn about viticulture and unearth the acoustic secrets of the Whispering Wall.
