DAY 01: YANGON ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, transfer to your hotel and check-in (from 14:00). In the afternoon, embark on a city tour of Yangon. Visit the Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Park, and explore the vibrant Bogyoke Market (closed on Mondays and public holidays). Conclude the tour with a visit to the iconic Shwedagon Pagoda. Optional: Explore the colorful night market. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 02: YANGON KYAIKHTIYO 
This morning, journey by road to Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock. In the afternoon, arrive at Kyaikhtiyo base camp. Travel by local open-air truck to the junction camp to reach Golden Rock on foot. After about one hour of trekking, get to the Golden Rock. Golden Rock is one of Myanmar's main pilgrimage sites, a huge boulder covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. Overnight in Kyaikhtiyo.

DAY 03: KYAIKHTIYO BAGO YANGON
Today, return to the base camp by open-air truck and begin the return journey to Yangon. En route, explore the town of Bago, and learn about the history and myths of the city. Visit the 55-meter-long reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha, the four seated Buddhas at Kyaikpun, and the old palace of Kambozathadi. Return to Yangon, briefly stopping at the Allied War Cemetery in Htaukkyan. On arrival in Yangon, check in at your hotel.

DAY 04: YANGON BAGAN BY FLIGHT (EXCLUDED AIRFARE)

Next, visit a traditional lacquerware workshop, Myanmar's best-known handicrafts. Continue to Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece and one of Bagan's most beautiful temples. DAY 05: BAGAN POPA SALAY BAGAN
Today, visit Mount Popa and Salay. Drive to Chauk local market, continue to the village of Salay, an important Buddhist center, and see its famed wooden monastery with intricate carvings. (Salay monastery museum is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and public holidays). This afternoon, arrive at Mt. Popa, an extinct volcano standing 1518 meters high. Mt. Popa has played an important role in Myanmar's culture, religion, and history. In the late afternoon, drive back to Bagan and transfer to your hotel.

Travel along the uphill and winding road over the Shan Plateau. Visit Pindaya cave, a vast cavern where hundreds and thousands of Buddha images in various sizes and shapes have been installed since the 11th century. Later, drive to Nyaung Shwe, the gateway to the famous Inle Lake. Overnight in Inle Lake.
