Langkawi Island Fishing Village - Visit Pulau Tuba. Furthermore Covering 20 square kilometres, this hilly island is the only other inhabited island besides Langkawi. Located about five nautical kilometres from Kuah, it is also known as the “Islamic Island” because all the residents here are Muslims. Lush, tropical vegetation covers the island, which has six villages linked by mini tar roads. Although provided with facilities like power, telephones and a freshwater supply, the villagers still prefer to maintain their traditions and simple lifestyles, like drawing water from the wells. The island is accessible by a 20-minute boat trip from Kuah. In addition, Visit floating modern fish farm and local fish farm.  Our boat will drop you at the floating fish farm in a secluded cove surrounded by high vertical limestone and granite cliffs. Sangkar Ikan Literally meaning "fish cage", this is in fact a floating wooden platform built by a local fisherman to breed fish in the sea.
Various species of fish, including a colourful array of exotic reef fish and others are bred commercially for the local markets and restaurants. However, the platform is a novel attraction as you can view, first hand, how fish breed in their natural environment. You will also have a wild time hand-feeding the rays. There are also many sea creatures kept in the 'tanks' but we shall not reveal too much - it's well worth the trip.
Afterwards Explore the Mangrove Forest -The journey will start from Kilim Rivermouth area where the boat will then take you cruising along Kilim River. The 100 square meters nature park features a beautiful mix of well-protected green mangrove forests, isolated white beaches and blue lagoons. On the trail along the calm winding river, you will be exposed to the wonders of the park's marine ecosystem, flora and fauna like the overhanging Bogak Trees, Brown Eagles, Tree Crabs, iguanas and macaques. Furthermore, enjoy with the scenic and spectacular view of unique limestone rock formations emerging from the floor of the mangrove swamps and the sea.
Feeding the serama - The Malaysian Serama Bantam is the smallest and lightest bantam chicken in the world and often described as a living work of art. In addition, feeding to the eagles is spectacular, exciting experience and photo opportunity for all. Our boat will cruise to a very beautiful and special spot where you will have a chance to see a flock of eagles swooped in from nowhere. The amazing thing about these magnificent predators is their precision.
Circling eagles swoop down with their sharp talons fully extended as they pick the pieces of chicken meat nimbly off the surface. They skim over the water's surface effortlessly before flying off into the trees to feast on their 'catch'. There are various types of eagles here; the Brahminy kites 46 cm arrive from all directions. These raptors are generally chestnut brown in colour, and white on the head and breast.
The White-bellied Sea Eagle (71cm) is the largest of the species present. However, the sea eagle's head and under parts are white with grey back and wing-coverts. Its impressive wingspan lifts the eagle high above the crowd and is usually spotted soaring in higher altitudes. These birds are the lords of the skies. Langkawi is named after the Red Eagles that have made their home in the crags and crevices of the islands long before any human set foot ashore.
