Day 1: Siem Reap – Arrival

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our escort guide and driver, then transfer directly to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy your time or make your first walking tour around the central area, old market, pub street, or even the night market overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2: Full-Day Angkor Discovery
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Breakfast is at the hotel. We set off at 8.00 am for a full day of guided Angkor exploration, starting with the south gate of Angkor Thom atop four giant faces, strolling to explore Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples, including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king, terrace of elephant & Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed. Enjoy delicious set lunch at Triple K air conditioning restaurant. After lunch, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest monument in the world. Unlock the excellent history, its ancestral incredible architectural masterpieces, and the finest carvings date back to the Khmer Empire, which dominated the most significant parts of Southeast Asia. Next, enjoy hiking up to Phnom Bakheng to watch the spectacular sunset or go to Pre Rup temple as if Phnom Bakheng is always touristy. Evening, transfer to have set dinner followed by Apsara traditional dance performance at our selected local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3: Kompong Phluk Stilt Houses, Mangrove & Flight to Luang Prabang
Meal: Breakfast
Explore the stilt house village of Kompong Phluk or the floating village of Chong Kneas on Tonle Sap Lake. Witness the unique way of life and fishing activities of the locals. Enjoy a scenic boat tour, canoe through mangroves, and discover the rich ecosystem of Tonle Sap Lake. Transfer to Luang Prabang, Laos, and have free time in the evening, overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 4: Pak Ou Caves & Luang Prabang Tour
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at the hotel. We depart to explore the mystery of Pak Ou Caves, where you will see hundreds of sacred Buddha statues lacquered in gold in different shapes. Embark on the boat cruising along the great Mekong River, passing the stunning nature from afar; you will see the limestone cliffs where we disembark to discover the hidden Pak Ou Caves. Learn from your guide about religious stories and wander to capture photos of the impressive Buddha images. Return and admire Lao rice wine and paper wood handicrafts & observe silk weaving. Have lunch at a selected local restaurant. Afternoon, visit the notable Royal Palace Museum, which dates from the early 20th century, and it’s a good chance for you to learn more about Lao culture and history. Next, wander around Wat Xieng Thong with its essential history& its characteristic Luang Prabang style. Near the end of the day, we climb to the top of Mount Phousi to watch spectacular sunset (if the weather is good) over Luang Prabang & the Mekong. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 5: Alms Ceremony & Kuang Si Waterfall
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at the hotel. Today we rise a bit early to see the almsgiving ceremony; it is an excellent chance to learn about local culture when monks are in saffron robes from Luang Prabang’s temples walking in long silent processions, searching for offerings left to them by the faithful. Return to hotel for breakfast before strolling around Phousi Market for enjoyable trading activities, drive & en-route at some ethnic villages to unlock the culture & local life. Continue to the most beautiful Kuang Sy waterfall in Laos, enjoy swimming and cooling down for a few hours, or you may want to trek down the jungle trails to visit the black bear sanctuary (included) and witness how it’s being protected. Evening, enjoy a set dinner at a selected local restaurant before we go to the idyllic Luang Prabang night market for shopping overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 6: Luang Prabang - Flight to Bangkok
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at the hotel. Enjoy the rest of your free time in Luang Prabang before our driver (no guide) transfers you to the airport flight departure (12:20 – 14:35) to Bangkok, Thailand. Upon your arrival, meet our escort guide and driver, then transfer you directly to the hotel for check-in. Have free time in the evening. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 7: Maeklong Railway Market & Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at the hotel. We set off at 8.00 am from the hotel, driving passing charming countryside through visiting Maeklong Station Market – have a guided stroll to see various regional fresh fruits/vegetables, including enjoyable trading activities along the Mae Klong railway. Please continue to take a long tail boat to explore the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where you will experience the traditional Thai market with numerous vendors selling local foods, tropical fruits, and products from their boats. Today your lunch is served at a local restaurant. A visit to coconut products and orchid farms admires the tour. Return to Bangkok. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 8: Bangkok City Tour & Dinner Cruise
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
After having breakfast, we journey out to explore the significant Grand Palace – the most important shrine in the kingdom of Thailand, followed by the emerald Buddha; Wat Po is the most talk-about, the oldest and largest Wat in Bangkok. Take a boat along the Chao Phraya River to explore the canal network around Thonburi, passing traditional houses on stilts and colorful flowers decorating their verandas, wooden shacks, temples, and many more. Stop to visit Wat Arun (temple of the dawn); then, we can feed the catfish before disembarking and shopping in the afternoon. Evening, transfer to Chao Phraya Cruise for dinner and enjoy the stunning view of Bangkok while the cruise slides slowly along the Chao Phraya River. Overnight in Bangkok.
 
Day 9: Departure from Bangkok

You may have free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Bangkok, depending on your departure time.
