Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent

Welcome to Tashkent! Upon arrival, breeze through immigration and customs before meeting your guide outside the arrival hall. You'll be transferred to your hotel to settle in. Enjoy your first night in this vibrant city.

 

Day 2: Tashkent to Chimgan Mountains and Charvak Lake

After a hearty breakfast, journey to the stunning Chimgan Mountains. Ride the cable car to the peak and take in panoramic views. Depending on availability, enjoy optional activities like quad biking or horse riding. Then, unwind by the serene Charvak Lake, a popular resort in the Tashkent region. Return to Tashkent for a restful overnight stay.

 

Day 3: Tashkent to Samarkand

Begin the day with breakfast before heading to the railway station for the high-speed Afrosiab train to Samarkand. Explore the capital of the Great Tamerlane Empire, known as the "Rome of the East." Visit the awe-inspiring Gur Emir Mausoleum and the iconic Registan Square, home to the Ulugbek, Sherdor, and Tillya Kari Madrasahs. Enjoy lunch at a local café before visiting the majestic Bibi Khanum Mosque and the lively Siyab Bazaar. Take a stroll around the Amir Temur Statue and University Boulevard. Check in to your hotel and relax.

 

Day 4: Samarkand to Bukhara

After breakfast, delve into Samarkand's treasures, including the Shakhi Zinda Necropolis and the Konigil Crafts Village, where you'll witness traditional silk paper production. Explore the Museum of Ulugbek Observatory, showcasing a 15th-century sextant. Enjoy lunch at a local eatery before embarking on a scenic drive to Bukhara. En route, visit the 12th-century Caravanserai and the Sardoba water reservoir. Discover local ceramics at the Gijduvan Ceramics Workshop before arriving in Bukhara. Experience a traditional dinner and masterclass at a National House before overnighting in Bukhara.

 

Day 5: Discover Bukhara

After breakfast, explore Bukhara's architectural marvels. Visit the Kalon Complex, including the Minaret, Mir-Arab Madrasah, and Mosque. Observe local craftsmanship at the Carpet Making Workshop. Enjoy lunch before continuing to the Lyabi-Khauz Complex and Kukeldash Madrasah. Experience the art of Puppet Making, a cherished Central Asian craft. Explore the Trade Domes, Magoki-Attori Mosque, and various Madrasahs. Savor herbal tea and Oriental sweets at a traditional Tea House. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure before returning to your hotel for the night.

 

Day 6: Bukhara to Tashkent

Start your day with breakfast and check out—Discover Bukhara's Summer Palace of Sitorai Mokhi Khosa, a grand residence with Russian influences. Visit the Ark Citadel, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Samanid Mausoleum, and Chashma-Ayub. Board the Afrosiab train back to Tashkent. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.

 

Day 7: Tashkent and Departure

Enjoy your final breakfast in Tashkent before checking out. Explore Tashkent's highlights, including the Hazrat Imam Complex with its historical monuments and the Quran of Caliph Uthman. Wander through Chorsu Bazaar, sampling local treats and picking up souvenirs. Visit the Tashkent TV Tower's observation deck, Independence Square, and the Memorial of Victory. Take a stroll along Broadway Pedestrian Street and ride the Tashkent Metro. Have a farewell dinner at a local café before heading to the airport for your flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
