NEW ZEALAND DRIVE TOUR ITINERARY.
DAY 1 - ARRIVE AUCKLAND
On arrival self drive guests will collect a rental car and drive to the hotel. Find out about New Zealand Drive Around Tour Packages.
DAY 2 - AUCKLAND - BAY OF ISLANDS (B)
Morning breakfast will be at the hotel. Then, travel north over Auckland’s Harbour Bridge and along the Hibiscus Coast. Then, continue journey through Whangarei, Northland’s only major city, before arriving in the beautiful Bay of Islands.
DAY 3 - BAY OF ISLANDS (B)
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Today, you are free at your own leisure time to enjoy the Bay of Islands and Northland. You can take an optional Cape Reinga & Ninety Mile Beach Day Tour or take time to explore historic Russell or Kerikeri (optional activities not included).
DAY 4 - BAY OF ISLANDS - AUCKLAND (B)
After breakfast, free at your own leisure time to further explore this beautiful region. Later in the afternoon return back to Auckland. 
DAY 5 - AUCKLAND - ROTORUA (B)
After breakfast, you will travel to the south to reach the market garden area of Pukekohe. Then, continue through Hamilton which is New Zealand’s fourth largest city and the fertile Waikato region to the ‘Thermal City’ of Rotorua. You will be free in Rotorua this afternoon or you can add optional activities if you want to.
DAY 6 - ROTORUA - NATIONAL PARK (B)
After breakfast, you will be leaving Rotorua, and drive to Taupo which is the home of New Zealand’s largest lake and the majestic Huka Falls. You can take some time to explore Taupo and the lake before driving around the edge of Lake Taupo and into the Tongariro National Park.
DAY 7 - NATIONAL PARK (B)
Take your morning breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will be at your own leisure time to explore the Tongariro National Park and many walking tracks in the area, including the world-famous Tongariro Crossing.
DAY 8 - NATIONAL PARK - WELLINGTON (B)
After breakfast, you will depart from Central Plateau and head to the south through farmlands to the capital city, Wellington.
DAY 9 - WELLINGTON - NELSON (B)
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. You will return your rental car in Wellington this morning to take the Interislander Ferry and head to Picton. Then, you will travel through the Marlborough Sounds and enjoy the scenic view from the ferry. When you arrive in Picton, you can collect your rental car and continue through the Queen Charlotte before drive to Nelson.
DAY 10 - NELSON (B)
Take your morning breakfast at the hotel. Today, you are free and leisure to explore Nelson and the nearby Abel Tasman National Park.
DAY 11 - NELSON - GREYMOUTH (B)
After breakfast, you will travel through the picturesque Nelson lakes district to reach the rugged West Coast. You also can visit the pancake rocks at Punakaiki enroute to Greymouth.
DAY 12 - GREYMOUTH - GLACIER REGION (B)
After breakfast, you will farewell Greymouth and continue to the south along the West Coast to reach the glacier region. Entry to Glacier Hot Pools is included.
DAY 13 - GLACIER REGION (B)
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will be free to explore this magnificent glacier region. You also can do some optional activities like a valley walk to the face of the glacier, a scenic flight or helicopter on to glacier for a guided walk on the ice (not included). 
DAY 14 - GLACIER REGION - QUEENSTOWN (B)
After breakfast, you will depart from Glacier Region today through spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to Haast Pass, which is the gateway to World Heritage Westland National Park. Then, you can follow the shores of Lakes Hawea and Wanaka heading to Queenstown and arriving in the late afternoon. 
DAY 15 - QUEENSTOWN (B)
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Today, you will have a free day to explore the endless optional attractions available. You also can do some physical activities like bungee jumping, jet boating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more (optional activities).
DAY 16 - QUEENSTOWN - TE ANAU (B)
After breakfast, you will depart from Queenstown for the short journey to Te Anau. After that, you can enjoy a free day in Te Anau today. You also can do some optional activities includes travelling via the world famous Milford Sound or an excursion to the Te Anau glowworm caves (optional activities not included).
DAY 17 - TE ANAU - DUNEDIN (B)
Take your morning breakfast at the hotel. Then, you will leave Te Anau for a drive through historical Central Otago to the Scottish influenced city of Dunedin.
DAY 18 - DUNEDIN (B)
After breakfast, you can take an optional tour to Otago Peninsula to visit Larnach Castle or view the resident penguin or albatross colonies this afternoon. Optional activities not included in the tour price.
DAY 19 - DUNEDIN - CHRISTCHURCH (B)
After breakfast, you will depart from Dunedin and travel to the north which is to the Garden City of Christchurch. Then, in the afternoon, it will be your leisure time in Christchurch.
DAY 20 - DEPARTURE DAY (B)
After breakfast, you will be transfer to airport for your departure. Tour end with sweet memory in New Zealand.
