DAY 1 - ARRIVE AUCKLAND
On arrival, seat in coach guests will be met and privately transferred to the hotel. Check out 25 Best Things to Do in New Zealand.
DAY 2 - AUCKLAND - WAITOMO (B,D)
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. After that, you will travel to the south passing the green hills and lush pasture land heading to Waitomo Glowworm Caves. Enjoy a guided tour of the weird and wonderful limestone formations and a magical boat ride under thousands of twinkling glowworms followed by lunch. Proceed to Rotorua by forested Mamaku Ranges and visit Agrodome Farm Show on arrival followed by a guided tour and Maori Cultural Performance at Te Puia Thermal Reserve. You will enjoy an authentic Maori Hangi (feast) and Concert in the evening.
DAY 3 - ROTORUA (B)
Next day, you will visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mudpools and roaring geysers. Following this, visit Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and an introduction to the stars of our sheep industry. Continue on to Rainbow Springs to see New Zealand’s trout, birds and wildlife. This afternoon or this evening you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the tranquil setting of the Lake Spa Retreat at the Polynesian Spa.
DAY 4 - CHRISTCHURCH (OWN ARRANGEMENTS) (B,D)
Take a morning breakfast at the hotel. Later, you will depart by your domestic flight from Rotorua to Christchurch (airfare is NOT included). This night you will enjoy a romantic dinner on the iconic Christchurch Tram Restaurant.
DAY 5 - MT COOK (B)
After having breakfast, you will travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo and the ‘Church of the Good Shepherd’ before continuing your journey to New Zealand’s highest mountain - Mt Cook. Later, you will depart from Mt Cook and follow the shores of Lake Pukaki south through the historic Central Otago region and heading to the ‘Alpine Resort’ of Queenstown.
DAY 6 - QUEENSTOWN (B)
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Today, you will have a free day to explore the endless optional attractions available. You also can do some physical activities like bungee jumping, jet boating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more (optional activities).
DAY 7 - GLACIER REGION (B)
On the 7th day, you will depart from Queenstown and travel along the shores of Lakes Wanaka and Hawea to the Haast Pass, gateway to World Heritage Westland National Park. Continue up to the West Coast past spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to the glacier region of Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers.
DAY 8 - GREYMOUTH (B)Morning breakfast. Then, you will travel to the north heading to Greymouth today by the world famous Tranzalpine train (coach guests only). Ascend through lush beech forests past the alpine village of Arthur’s Pass before crossing the spectacular Southern Alps onto Christchurch.
DAY 9 - DEPARTURE DAY (B)After breakfast, you will be transfer to airport for your departure. Tour end with sweet memory in New Zealand.
