Siem Reap, Koh Rong Island & Phnom Penh Tour Package - 7 Days, 6 Nights

Day 1: Siem Reap – Arrival
Meal: None
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by an escort tour guide (with a sign name) and driver, then transfer directly to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy free time at the hotel or make your highlight tour around a central area overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2: Full-Day Angkor Discovery
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Buffet Dinner + Apsara Show
Breakfast is at the hotel. Our tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel’s lobby at 8.00 am. Then we’re heading out to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire. The gate is atop four giant smiling faces then particularly visit Bayon temple, which consists of more than 200 smiling faces in stone and is admired by exciting surroundings such as the terrace of elephants, the terrace of the leper King, Baphuon, and Phimeanakas. Continue to reveal the intertwined Ta Prohm jungle temple adorned by stunning tree roots and where Lara Croft – Tomb Raider was filmed. Enjoy Khmer set lunch at Triple K air conditioning restaurant. Afternoon, we visit the magnificent Angkor Wat – the largest religious monument, also well-known as the 7th Wonder of the Worlds. This incredible complex was initially constructed as a Hindu temple of the god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, gradually transforming into a Buddhist temple toward the end of the 12th century. We unlock the most incredible history and observe the unique architecture, styles, decorations, etc. Resume visit beautiful sunset at Phnom Bakheng (limited allowance & touristy) or skip it if tired. Evening, transfer to have a buffet dinner followed by Apsara traditional dance performance at Kulen II restaurant. Return to hotel and overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3: Tonle Sap Floating Village, City Orientation, Silk Farm & Night Bus to Sihanoukville
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Breakfast is at the hotel. We’re journeying out of the hassle city at 8.00 am to Chong Kneas village’s boat pier. The journey takes approximately 30mins with some highlights of Siem Reap City. Once we arrived at the port, we processed to embark on a private sheltered boat to explore Tonle Sap Lake. The Tonle Sap is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia and is also an ecological hot spot designated as a UNESCO biosphere in 1997. The boat excursion takes us passing floating schools and houses animated by some fishing activities. Our tour guide will explain the Tonle Sap ecosystem and witness how life works in the floating community. We will stop to see a floating crocodile farm souvenir shop if it interests you before we return to Siem Reap town to stroll around the old market for shopping and seeing daily trading. Enjoy Khmer set lunch at Grill Wine Café - the unique art décor restaurant. Afternoon, we go for guided orientation at the finest Artisan Angkor wood/stone carving center displaying various defined handicraft and silk products. Resume the journey to visit Puok Angkor silk farm – observe the silk processing and see many of the finest silk products displayed. Return to hotel for refreshments. Evening, transfer to have a delicious Khmer set dinner at Asian Square restaurant. After dinner, our guide and driver will transfer you to the Giant Ibis bus station for sleeping bus at 8.30 pm to Sihanoukville. The night journey takes approx. Ten hours and arrives in Sihanoukville at 6.30 am on the next day. Overnight in Giant Ibis Sleeping Bus.

Day 4: Sihanoukville – Speed Ferry to Koh Rong Island & Beach Break
Meal: None
Once you arrive at Giant Ibis bus station in Sihanoukville, you will be picked up and transferred by our driver (no guide) to Speed Ferry Cambodia Office to get your ferry tickets and wait to be transferred to the ferry pier for the departure at 9.00 am to Koh Rong Island. After an hour ferry excursion, you will be greeted by the hotel’s staff, who will assist you with all your luggage to the hotel for check-in. Today is totally reserved as free & easy; enjoy yourselves by the seaside, swimming and sunbathing on one of beautiful Cambodia’s Islands. Overnight in Koh Rong.

Day 5: Koh Rong Island – Beach Break
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at the hotel. Enjoy your own free time at the seaside, swimming, and sunbathing. Overnight in Koh Rong.

Day 6: Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh Capital by Giant Ibis Bus
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at the hotel. Enjoy the rest of your time at Koh Rong before catching the speed ferry at 12.30 pm back to the mainland. You’ll be met by our driver (no guide) at the ferry pier after disembarking, then transfers to Giant Ibis Bus Station for departure at 3.30 pm directly to Phnom Penh Capital (5 hours). Upon your arrival in Phnom Penh, you will be welcomed by English speaking driver (with a signed name, no tour guide) and then transferred to the hotel for check-in. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 7: Full Day Phnom Penh City Tour, Sunset Cruise & Departure 
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Buffet Dinner
Check-out time: noon (Store all your luggage in the hotel’s store room). Breakfast is at the hotel. We set off at 8.00 am for interesting highlights of Phnom Penh taking photos of the Independent monument before heading to visit the Royal Palace – is a complex of buildings that serves as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia, Silver Pagoda, Royal Stupas, French style building, etc. Resume visit the National Museum, the world’s most important Khmer sculpture and carvings collection. Have Khmer set lunch at Bopha Titanic restaurant by the riverside. Afternoon, we continue to witness the tragic Tuol Sleng museum - a former high school turned into Tortured Prison S-21 when Khmer Rouge seized power between 1975 and 1979. Next, resume strolling around the Russian market for shopping before we go for a guided orientation around Wat Phnom with the exciting legend of founding Phnom Penh Capital. Evening at 4.40 pm, we get on board and enjoy a welcome cocktail. At the same time, the boat cruise slowly takes you along Mekong & Tonle Sap Rivers; view the spectacular sunset before having a buffet dinner on board, admiring the fresh air and the colorful nightlights of Phnom Penh Capital. Disembark and transfer directly to the airport for a flight back home. Say Goodbye to Cambodia.
